DOLCE GABBANA OPENS 4 EXCLUSIVE BEACH CLUBS:
With the arrival of summer vacation, Dolce Gabbana has opened four exclusive beach clubs in Europe’s famous coastal resorts. The Italian luxury fashion house has chosen iconic holiday destinations such as the island of Capri, Taormina in Sicily, Saint-Tropez on the French Riviera, and Marbella on the Costa del Sol.Picture this: the fresh sea breeze ruffling your hair, the scent of the salty sea air filling the atmosphere and bringing relaxation, the gentle sound of waves caressing the rocks or the sandy shore – that’s summer by the seaside. And one place that embodies all that we crave and seek during our summer vacation in Marbella is Dolce Gabbana Beach Club. If the tourist and luxury capital of the Costa del Sol has already conquered our hearts, let’s get to know one of its iconic beach clubs!
The legendary La Cabane beachfront restaurant, which first opened its doors in the golden era of 1965, has been brought back to life in 2023 thanks to a collaboration between the Andalusian and Spanish culinary master, the three Michelin-starred chef Dani García, and Grupo Mosh. And this time, they partnered with another legendary and stylish brand, Dolce & Gabbana, to create the perfect combination of excellence.
La Cabane is part of the * Los Monteros Spa & Golf Resort, which has been completely refurbished after changing ownership. Undoubtedly, this new “place to be” in the city is just a few minutes away from the center of Marbella and Puerto Banús. The renewed concept is inspired by the Italian Riviera and the dolce vita, from the food menu to the ambiance and even the decorations.
The beach club has undergone a transformation, and Dolce Gabbana’s “light blue mediterraneo” captivating patterns are used as decorations on surfaces, drawing inspiration from beautiful majolica ceramics. The Italian fashion house even created a pop-up store in the same style.
FROM THE POOLSIDE TERRACE TO THE RESTAURANT
At La Cabane, guests can find different spaces to suit their moods, whether it’s daytime or nighttime. In the outdoor area, where the terrace and the swimming pool are located, guests can relax in designer hammocks or Balinese beds. Alternatively, they can choose the terrace with various types of tables, creating the perfect setting for enjoying an aperitif while savoring the sweet life.Inside the dominating restaurant area, the iconic features of Dolce Gabbana, such as sparkle, elegance, a sophisticated yet calm atmosphere, and comfort, are evident in every detail.
Here awaits a pleasant surprise: the Dolci Room, decorated with prints of the Carretto Siciliano by Dolce Gabbana, where one can uniquely enjoy the desserts designed by Dani García for Dolce Gabbana. Indulge in one of their most sought-after products, the DG Logo bag, available in various flavors (vanilla, passion fruit and mango, and pistachio), as well as other delectable desserts inspired by the brand, such as yogurt and raspberry with rose and lemon.
DANI GARCÍA IN LA CABANE’S KITCHEN
Dani García, the famous 3 Michelin-starred chef, is a benchmark of Spanish gastronomy. He has successful restaurants in Marbella, such as BiBo, Lobito de Mar, Tragabuches, Alelí, Dani Brasserie, Leña y Smoket Room, and Kemuri. Joining them now is La Gran Familia Mediterránea. Responsible for the menu inspired by the beauty of majolica ceramics, this star chef aims to transport us to Italy through flavors and scents and take us on a gastronomic journey into the sweet life!By virtuously handling excellent ingredients and dedicating himself to creative cuisine, the Andalusian master chef opens the doors of his new project in two different areas: the pool area and the restaurant. In both spaces, they offer Italian-Mediterranean-style dishes that transport our taste buds to the shores of southern Italy.
The “pool menu” includes dishes such as Melon San Daniele with Parma ham, Bolognese mortadella, and lemon zest; pineapple and shrimp cocktail, lobster, mango, and basil salad, red shrimp and caviar sandwich, as well as excellent pasta and pizzas such as green pesto and artichoke or black truffle carbonara.
